We’ve now commenced on site to repair the fire damage to this historical Grade 2 listed building and also to carry out some refurbishments and upgrades in readiness for occupation by the new owners. The house is believed to have early origins, but was rebuilt in the late 18th century, with a substantial extension added in the mid 19th century. The classical Georgian front is faced with rare yellow mathematical tiles whilst the rear elevation has a panelled door with a porch supported by Doric columns. As a result of our extensive experience of heritage work we’ve been very fortunate to have been appointed to work on many listed buildings in this historic town, including Lewes Castle Wall, Anne of Cleves House, John Bull House and The Old Post Office.
