The project comprised the construction of an apartment block and two 3 bedroom houses. The apartment block contains three 1 bedroom flats and nine 2 bedrooms flats including two penthouses each with balconies or gardens and parking spaces.
Following the demolition of a dairy depot the buildings were constructed using a variety of techniques including brickwork, blockwork, pre-cast floors, trussed roof, corium and zinc cladding, slate roofing, single ply roofing and liquid applied roofing.
In addition to the highways drainage connections the mechanical and electrical installation was highly specified to include app controlled heating, underfloor heating, a smoke vent, electrically controlled roof lights, solar panels, intruder alarms and door access control.
The interiors were also highly specified and finished to a high standard. The buildings were also design and constructed to be highly energy efficient.
